Pokémon and Magic portfolios with CSV or JSON exports
Worth considering when exported inventory matters as much as scanning, especially for Pokémon and Magic collectors. Compare the annual and weekly plans, and verify platform-specific game coverage before subscribing.

The official Pokémon guide names English, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian card support. Chinese pricing/search is noted in iOS updates; Chinese scanning is not established. English iOS interface.
From a scan to a usable inventory
MonPrice advertises card identification with name, rarity and estimated value. Its current collection workflow also includes duplicate quantities and bulk addition from collections to a portfolio. Record the correct quantity after matching a card, and check foil versus normal printing before relying on its total.
The developer documents compatibility with CardSlinger and similar batch-scanning equipment. That is a supported workflow claim, not a measured throughput result from our review.
Prices and acquisition records
The official listing names TCGplayer and Cardmarket as price sources, updated daily. Those marketplaces represent different buying environments, so inspect the displayed price context when deciding what a local buyer might pay. Portfolio charts become more meaningful when purchase price and date are entered consistently.
Keep condition and edition aligned with the price record. A rise in a portfolio estimate does not by itself establish a realizable profit after fees or postage.
Collections, duplicates and sync
Recent updates document duplicate management, bulk addition and synchronization between devices. These are useful when a collection moves between a binder, trade box and storage. Begin with a small group containing duplicates and different treatments, then confirm that counts and saved records remain correct before entering a large batch.
Games and card-language editions
The iOS release history documents Magic: The Gathering scanning and collection support in addition to Pokémon. The current Google Play update also announces an OP card type for One Piece collectors; check its availability on your chosen platform. The older website FAQ saying Pokémon only does not reflect all these later releases.
The official Pokémon guide names English, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian cards. A July iOS update adds Chinese TCG pricing and card-number search, which is narrower evidence than Chinese camera recognition. These statements should not be extended to every Magic language. Apple lists English as the interface language.
Free access and subscription intervals
The official website advertises the first ten scans free and free manual-search features. The US App Store checked September 24, 2026 lists named Pro options including Weekly at $6.99, Annual at $39.99 and Lifetime at $99.99. Promotional products also appear, so use the final purchase screen to compare what is included and how renewal works.
For a one-off collection project, estimate how long cataloguing will take before choosing a short billing interval.
CSV and JSON exports
MonPrice explicitly documents CSV and JSON exports for scan results and collections. CSV suits spreadsheet editing; JSON can preserve a structured representation for another tool. Export a small sample with duplicate quantities and special printings first, then inspect whether it contains the identifiers your destination needs.
Keep that sample as a reference when testing later imports. A file format being supported does not guarantee another inventory service accepts every column without adjustment.
Latest update and recent functional changes
The Apple snapshot records version 1.44 on September 16, 2026 with minor fixes and stability changes. Earlier recent notes describe collection synchronization, bulk portfolio addition and a CSV export fix; July notes introduced graded-card pricing and collection support. Check these practical workflows when evaluating the current build rather than assuming a maintenance note proves better scan accuracy.
