Multi-game collections with condition insights
A relevant shortlist option for collectors spanning several games who also want portfolio views and condition estimates. Confirm the correct printing after each match, and establish an export workflow before making it your only inventory.

Scanning and checking the match
HoloDex identifies trading cards and connects the result to collection and pricing tools. Use the scan as the start of cataloguing: compare the set, card number and foil treatment with the physical card before saving it. Similar artwork can appear on different printings with different values.
The developer also offers AI condition analysis. Treat its observations as a prompt to inspect edges, corners and surfaces yourself; a phone-based estimate is not a grading-company certification.
A collection beyond individual scans
The advertised workflow includes portfolios, duplicates and wishlists, with cloud backup and multi-device synchronization. Separate a trade binder from a long-term collection so a portfolio total has a clear meaning. Before adding a large duplicate stack, check how quantity and condition appear in the saved record.
Portfolio views and value tracking
HoloDex advertises market pricing, multiple currencies and profit/loss tracking. A collection estimate is most useful when the underlying edition and acquisition cost are correct. Review a few valuable cards individually before using an aggregate figure to plan a sale; a portfolio total does not account for every buyer negotiation or selling expense.
Supported games and card languages
The current App Store description lists Pokémon, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic, Dragon Ball Super, Digimon, Gundam, Union Arena, Riftbound and Star Wars Unlimited. That makes game breadth a documented strength.
Apple lists an English interface. Neither that localization nor the game list establishes recognition of every Japanese, Korean or other language edition. Try a representative card from each language and set you own, then inspect the matched record before cataloguing the rest.
Free download and Pro costs
The App Store offers a free download with in-app purchases; the description associates unlimited scans, additional filters and AI grading features with subscription access. The US listing checked on September 24, 2026 includes a Weekly purchase at $4.99 and a Quarterly purchase at $19.99. Compare the billing interval on the purchase screen with the size of your scanning project.
Exports and keeping a second inventory
The official sources checked describe cloud synchronization but do not document a CSV or spreadsheet export. Sync helps maintain the same collection on devices; export serves a different purpose when moving to another tool. If a downloadable inventory is essential, confirm that workflow with support before entering your whole collection.
Latest update: sealed products and portfolio controls
Version 2.3, dated September 10, 2026 in the Apple snapshot, adds a Sealed tab, expands wishlist organization and bulk actions, and updates portfolio charts and statistics. It also lists gainers and losers and support for Norwegian kroner. These changes are relevant to collectors tracking unopened products alongside individual cards; the release notes do not establish scanner performance.
