Foloy advertises photo identification that connects a card with its game, set, rarity and edition. Inspect those fields against the physical copy before saving it. A useful first session should include a few ordinary cards and a few similar-looking variants, so you can learn how to correct the result when necessary.

Collection records with context

The app describes collection records with condition, photos, tags and notes, plus sorting by game, set, rarity or value. Those fields can give an inventory a practical purpose beyond its total price. For example, notes can record where a card is stored or why a particular copy belongs in a trade binder.

Registered users are offered cloud synchronization. Check a small saved collection on your intended devices before relying on that workflow for a large catalogue.

Values, history and a buying wishlist

Foloy advertises current values, price history and a wishlist, along with links for purchasing cards. Use those features to keep a prospective purchase separate from an owned card. Before using a displayed estimate for a trade, compare the edition and condition and inspect whatever market context the card record provides.

The checked description does not identify a complete pricing methodology. If price-source transparency is your main requirement, compare the available sale evidence with a service focused on documented transaction history.

Supported games and language editions

The App Store description names Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic, One Piece and Dragon Ball. The official website also lists Disney Lorcana. Search your exact game and set in the current app, particularly where a franchise has more than one card product.

Apple lists 12 interface localizations, including English, Japanese and Chinese localizations. This is evidence about the app interface, not proof of recognition for all cards printed in those languages. Verify a representative card from each language edition in your own collection.

Pro offers and the cost question

Foloy is free to download with optional in-app purchases. The US App Store checked September 24, 2026 displays $39.99 products with trial or introductory-offer names, but those labels alone do not establish a standard billing interval. Read the purchase screen for the renewal period, trial conditions and included limits.

The sources checked do not specify an ongoing free scan allowance. Establish that limit before planning a large scanning session; a free installation by itself does not answer how much cataloguing remains free.

Exports and a portable collection

No documented CSV or other collection export was found in the checked official sources. Cloud synchronization and collection portability are different needs. If a downloadable inventory is part of your workflow, ask about the available format and fields before adding hundreds of cards. Keep acquisition receipts and any existing spreadsheet until you have a transfer route that works for you.

Latest update and who should shortlist it

The Apple snapshot lists version 1.7.0, released September 16, 2026, with user-experience improvements and minor fixes. The notes do not specify a new game or recognition feature. Foloy is most relevant to a collector drawn to its multi-game organization, notes and wishlists; compare cost and export requirements alongside those features.
