A trade does not have to disappear when the conversation ends. Collectr’s latest iOS update adds a way to save a Trade Analyzer session and return to past trades.
What changed
The release notes for Collectr 2.5.7, released September 12, say Trade Analyzer now supports saving, reviewing and revisiting past trades. That makes the update especially relevant if you use the app to compare cards before agreeing a swap. Read the official App Store release notes.
A saved trade gives the comparison a place to live beyond the first calculation. You can come back to the cards involved when you next speak to the other collector, instead of rebuilding a list from memory.
Build a trade. Save the comparison. Come back to it.
Why a record is useful at the trade table
The practical benefit is continuity. A trade often starts with a few cards, changes as you look through a binder and pauses while someone considers another offer. Keeping a record makes it easier to pick up that discussion.
Before saving, check the exact printing, quantity, language and condition on both sides. Two cards can share a name or illustration while representing different entries in a catalogue. Keeping those details straight is more useful than comparing two totals built from the wrong cards.
What else is in this release?
Collectr also lists new links for sharing Showcases and Sets, a quick-add menu opened by holding the plus button in search results, a Compare Grades view and fixes for the scan-camera flash. Collectr 2.5.7 release notes.
