A new set with plenty to catalogue
Pokémon’s official announcement marks a simultaneous worldwide release. The expansion brings together more than 150 cards, 30 Pikachu rare cards and a 30-card Classic Collection. Cardient’s 1.0.4 notes say the 30th Celebration set is priced in the app and ready to scan. The update includes a refreshed set screen with a completion ring, plus a JP label for Japanese printings.

Scan ’Em All’s version 2.6 history explicitly names scanning and collecting 30th Celebration cards in English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese. That same entry describes changes to pricing and card-image loading.

Start with one card and compare the returned set and number with the physical card. Check the language and foil treatment, then confirm the quantity before saving. If the result is ambiguous, use the app’s search or candidate selection to choose the exact printing.
Keep duplicates separate from missing cards when tracking a set. A binder can grow quickly while its completion count barely moves; recording quantities makes that difference easier to follow.
